I'm David, a Redmond-based independent locksmith serving Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, and surrounding cities. Whether you're in need of emergency service because you've locked yourself out or lost your keys, you want to set up an appointment to rekey, change, or install some new locks, or you need to repair a broken lock, you can expect me to provide no-nonsense reasonably priced service.

My locksmith service is entirely mobile, performed out of my rolling shop. Since I don't maintain a storefront location, I'm able to keep my costs low and pass the savings on to my customers. I rely upon repeat business and treat every customer accordingly. I'm straightforward about arrival times and likely costs, and like any legitimate locksmith, I'm licensed, bonded, and insured.

I try to be efficient and ecologically friendly in the performance of my job. My preference is to preserve, repair, and reuse good parts rather than destroying and disposing of them. I am generally hesitant to drill a perfectly good lock merely because I don't have the key. Also, I like to limit my driving around by getting jobs done in a single trip, which often means requesting good photos and clear information before making an appointment. Getting all the information up front allows me to give reliable quotes and then arrive prepared and on schedule.

I'm just one guy, an actual person with a family and responsibilities outside of my job. I tend to get more requests than I can field, so sometimes I have to choose. I favor projects that I can do quickly and capably, that require less driving, and that are most likely to produce happy customers. Like most people, I try to confine my work—in the field and on the phone—to my regular working hours, from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday.
